The ‘Old Values’ of the agency business are paramount and we put a great deal of emphasis on the client relationship, integrity and ethics.
‘New Ways’ describes our fully integrated and streamlined business practices. All administration, including the processing of livestock and property sales, are carried out centrally using real time media and connectivity.
All TopX branches are independently owned and managed, but have the advantage of operating within the respected TopX network alongside our professional support team.
With the implementation of mobile technologies, each franchise is a TopX office wherever they are, whether that be in the paddock or on the road.
Emails, faxes and files can be sent straight to and from a smartphone or tablet and the TopX Website works for our agents and their clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Topex Pastoral Pty Ltd was established in mid-1995 by a group of North Queensland producers. Their aim was to pursue long-term, mutually profitable, supply alliances and provide a much higher quality of service and market intelligence than what was available from the traditional service providers.
In August 2010 Cyril Close, Tom McLeish and Luke Westaway formed a new partnership and purchased the company, re-branding it as TopX Australia. In June 2016, Luke Westaway sold his share to the two remaining partners.
