Charters Towers Combined Agents yarded a total of 3,155 Store Cattle consisting of 1,216 Steers, 588 Mickeys, 1,345 Heifers and 6 Cows & Calves.

The majority of the store cattle consisted of smaller, mixed lots, apart from the two major lines of northern mickeys and a large consignment of western heifers. Younger crossbred cattle were in strong demand. Good competition on all categories across the board. The yarding was drawn from Camooweal, Mt Isa, Burketown, Chillagoe, Normanton, Croydon, Hughenden, as well as local and coastal areas.
