Charters Towers Combined Agents yarded a total of 2590 cattle. Store Cattle consisted of 1896 Steers, 691 Heifers and 3×3 Cows & Calves.

Store cattle consisted of smaller lines of predominately good quality Brahman and Crossbred mid weight Steers and Heifers. As per previous week’s, all quality cattle were met by firm competition with the mixed quality cattle selling to reduced competition and returning a lack-lustre result.

The yarding was drawn from Mt Isa, Cloncurry, Croydon, Dimbulah, Laura, Tully as well as local and coastal areas.
