The supply of stock at Dalby remained relatively unchanged from the previous week with a total of 3,896 head. Included in the lineup were 472 head from far Western Queensland as well as 208 head from New South Wales plus 3,216 from the local supply areas and included in the lineup were 114 PTIC cows sold open auction. Export buyer attendance was good, and all were operating in a firm to dearer market. A fair panel of feeder operators were also present and active. Heavy weight yearling steers at the time of this interim report have averaged 6c/kg better. Medium and heavy weight yearling heifers to feed were in demand and lifted in price by 17c to 30c/kg. Heavy weight cows averaged 2c to 5c/kg dearer. Medium weight yearling steers to feed averaged 340c and made to 368c/kg. Heavy weight yearling steers to feed made to 344c with a good selection at 336c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed made to 328c and averaged 313c/kg. Heavy weight yearling heifers to feed made to a top of 330c to average 305c/kg. The best of the heavy grown steers and bullocks made to 310c and averaged 304c/kg. Medium weight 2 score cows averaged 196c and made to 202c/kg. Heavy weight 3 score cows averaged 217c and made to 225c and the best of the heavy weight cows made to 235c to average 228c/kg. Heavy weight bulls made to 273c/kg.
