GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 13TH NOVEMBER 2024
Combined agents at Gracemere this week yarded a total of 2955 head consisting of 1459 steers, 1050 heifers, 287 cows, 44 cows & calves, 26 bulls & 88 mickeys. This weeks sale was met with a market that was firm overall, with little price movement in the averages of most selling categories. Weaner steers sold for an average of 333c/kg with a top price of 436c/kg. Feeder steers sold for an average of 327c/kg while the best of them made 398c/kg. Weaner heifers averaged 250c/kg and reached up to a top price of 308c/kg. Feeder heifers today averaged 296c/kg and reached up to 317c/kg for the best of them. The cow market averaged 257c/kg with a top price of 289c/kg.
