The useful falls of rain across the usual supply area reduced numbers at Warwick to 1,061 lambs and 692 grown sheep. All the regular processors and wholesalers attended along with local restockers and feeder buyers. With a heavy hail storm halting the sale for a time prices for the trade and heavy lambs improved and sold to dearer trends along with hoggets and heavy ewes to processors young lambs to restockers also sold to dearer prices.

Light weight young lambs to restockers sold from $70 to $98/head. Young lambs in the 16-18kg range to the wholesale meat trade sold from $100 to$128 with those over 18kg at $132 to $137/head. The best of the new season lambs to the butcher trade sold to $171/head. Older lambs in the 18-22kg range to the wholesale meat trade sold from $138 to $196/head. Trade weight lambs sold from $194 to $205 with heavy cross bred lambs at $165 to $232/head.

Hoggets to processors sold from $104 to $155/head. Light weight ewes to processors sold from $20 to $54 with the heavy ewes at $60 to $80/head. Cross bred wethers to processors sold from $68 to $87/head. Ram lambs to the wholesale meat trade sold from $88 to $104 with the older rams at $50 to $102/head.
