Warwick agents penned 1,331 sheep and lambs down by1,000 head. All the regular processors and wholesalers attended along with restockers and with rain falling throughout the sale prices lifted for all store lambs and lambs suited to the wholesale meat trade with heavy lambs firm and hoggets dearer.

Light weight young lambs to restockers sold from$58 to $60 with those to the wholesale meat trade at $74 to $84/head.18kg lambs to processors sold from $125 to $138/head. Light trade weight lambs sold from $140 to $169/head. Lambs suited to the wholesale meat trade sold from $139 to $199 with the heavy lambs to processors at $230/head.

Hoggets to processors sold from $92 to $160/head. Ewes to processors sold from $50 to $100 with restockers also paying to $100/head. Wethers with skin to restockers made $66 and those to processors at $74 to $94/head. Ram lambs topped at $158 with older rams to processors at $78/head.
