Agents penned 996 lambs and 716 grown sheep at Warwick. All the regular buyers attended along with restockers. The quality and finish of the yarding improved across the lambs and mutton section which resulted in lambs selling to improved prices as did the hogget and mutton lines.

Young lambs to restockers gained $11 and sold from $70 to $82/head. Light weight lambs to restockers sold from $94 to $108/head. 18kg dressed lambs to processors improved by $5 and sold from $125 to $134/head. Trade weight lambs to the wholesale market sold from $126 to $160/head. Lambs in the 22-24kg range sold from $138 to $170 with the crossbred lambs selling from $158 to $166/head. Heavy lambs to processors sold from $169 to $195/head.

Hoggets sold to very strong demand from the processors selling from $80 to $130/head. Light weight merino ewes to processors sold from$32 to $40 with restockers paying to $60 for ewes with skin. Heavy dorper ewes to processors gained $15 and sold from $62 to $92/head. Heavy dorper wethers to processors sold from $82 to $95 with crossbred wethers selling to $92/head. Increased numbers of ram lambs to the wholesale meat trade sold from $97 to $139/head. Rams to processors sold from $70 to $110/head.
