Numbers rose to 2,178 head at the Warwick sale. With the increased supply of good trade and heavy lambs prices remained firm to slightly dearer for most processor lines.The store lambs to restockers could not maintain last weeks rates and eased from $6 to $11/head with the hoggets to processors dearer and the mutton selling to firm prices.

Young lambs to restockers sold from $42 to $74/head. Young lambs to wholesale meat trade sold from $90 to $93/head. Light weight lambs to restockers sold from$59 to $95 with feeder operators paying from $97 to $114/head. Lambs in the 22-24kg range to the wholesale meat trade sold from $119 to $171 with crossbred lines at $154/head. Ideal trade weight lambs were $12 stronger selling from $161 o $182/head. Heavy crossbred lambs to processors sold from $165 to $196/head.

Light weight merino hoggets to processors sold from $60 to $66 with heavy crossbred hoggets selling from $96 o $130/head. Light weight ewes to processors sold from $39 to $45 with the heavy ewes selling from $69 to $100/head. Ram lambs to the wholesale meat trade sold from $110 to $140/head. Rams to processors sold from $47 to $69/head.
