The return to clear skies saw the supply of stock at Warwick increase to 1,448 lambs and 1,095 grown sheep. With the larger numbers all export processors were able to operate alongside the usual wholesalers,feeder buyers and restockers. All classes sold to strong prices following the extreme rates of the rain affected sale the previous week.

Light weight young lambs to restockers sold from $40 to $56 with those over 12kg to processors at $95 to $112/head. Young lambs in the 16-20kg range to feeder operators sold from $90 to$150/head. Heavy new season lambs to processors sold from $165 to $220/head. Older lambs in the 18kg range to the wholesale meat trade sold from $125 to $152/head. Lambs in the 20-24kg range sold from $151 to $203/head. Heavy trade lambs sold from $189 to $226 with the very heavy lambs topping at $254/head.

Hoggets to processors sold from $70 to $187/head. Light weight ewes to processors sold from $19 to $35/head. Heavy ewes to processors at $50 to $106 with restockers paying to $121/head. Wethers to processors sold from $70 to $106/head. Ram lambs to the wholesale meat trade sold from $98 to $150 with older rams to processors at $67 to $82/head.
