The supply of stock at Warwick remained close to last sale with 971 lambs and 751 grown sheep. All the regular buyers attended and operated on stronger market for most prime classes of lambs and mutton. Increased restocker demand lifted prices on the store lambs offered.

Young lambs to restockers sold from $72 to $81/head. Light weight lambs to the wholesale meat trade sold from $78 to $108 with those to restockers topping at $112/head. Lambs in the 20-22kg range to feeder buyers sold from $111 to $113 and to wholesalers at $120 to $145/head. Trade weight lambs sold from $123 to $167/head. Heavy lambs to processors sold from $190 to $208/head.

Restocker merino hoggets sold to $61 with heavy hoggets to processors at $90 to $137/head. Light weight ewes to processors gained $14 and sold from $67 to $90/head. Heavy ewes sold from $79 to $91/head. A line of young dorper ewes sold to restockers at $125/head. Heavy wethers to processors sold from $90 to $114/head. Ram lambs to the wholesale meat trade sold from $108 to $118 with several finding new homes at $150/head. Older rams to processors sold from $80 to $145 with restockers paying to $190/head.
