Agents penned 1,123 lambs and 722 grown sheep at Warwick. The finish of the lamb portion of the yarding was not up to last weeks offering but prices still remained firm to dearer with gains of $5 to $12/head across the prime classes. The hoggets and mutton sold to very strong competition from processors and saw gains of $2 to $12/head.

Young light weight lambs to processors sold from $69 to $79/head with those to restockers selling from$38 to $76/head. Young lambs in the 16 -18kg range to processors sold to $89/head. Lambs in the 18-20kg range to feeder buyers sold from $92 to $101/head with those to the wholesale meat trade at $92 to $126/head. 22-24kg trade weight lambs to wholesalers sold from $146 to $174/head. Heavy cross bred and dorper lambs to processors sold from $162 to $199/head.

Light weight cross bred hoggets to processors sold from $41 to $48/head. Good heavy hoggets to processors sold from $85 to $130 up by $12/head. Merino ewes to processors sold from $40 to $50 with cross bred ewes selling from $58 to $85/head. Heavy ewes to processors sold to $100/head. Merino wethers to processors made $60 with crossbred and dorper wethers selling from $84 to $90/head. Ram lambs to the wholesale meat trade sold from $74 to $120/head. Rams to processors sold from $65 to $82/head.
