Approx 90 Brahman X Heifers and 60 Crossbred Calves. Inspected prior to the rain, these heifers had been doing a great job on their calves and had also improved well out of sight since the previous inspection in December. They have been on a Anipro Molasses mix since the end of November and would continue to go ahead on the fresh green feed. Originally bred in the Territory and they were PTIC before being taken on agistment at Longreach since the end of September 24, they are rising 3 years being branded #2’s (2 #1’s noted). They present in store to forward store condition, with a weight range of 300 to 480kg to Av. 380kg. The calves are fresh to 4 months old and have not been branded or marked but will be NLIS tagged prior to delivery (The number of calves is expected to increase upon delivery). Vendor has not rejoined these cows, the dry cows can be PTIC on delivery.
