The mob comprises Brahman Composite, Shorthorn, and Charbray cross types, with calves showing similar breeding however with more Flatback influence. The 53 calves range from fresh to 6 months of age, averaging approx 120kg. The lead is well-grown and nearing weaning weight, comprising roughly 30 steers and 23 heifers. Calves are unbranded and unmarked. Originally purchased as a run of cows with calves and PTICs, 17 cows are yet to calve, with 4 head observed springing at assessment. These cows have not been rejoined. With good recent rainfall, grass growth and strong market conditions, this presents an excellent split or trade opportunity heading into winter.
