152 head (4 decks) of VGQ Black Simmental X No.4 steers. At assessment these steers weighed from 200-350kg to ave. 278.9kg after being in the yards overnight. The steers are well bred out of a cross bred cow heard using Good Quality, Black Simmental, Simmangus and Angus X Bulls. The odd steer has a white under belly or brindle markings. At assessment there was 2 No.3s noted and the odd steer branded No.5s. Of the % of steers mouthed all were milk tooth. 1 steer noted with a waterbag is his sack, not considered detrimental. The steers are all polled or well dehorned. This line of steers will grow out well to the heavy feeder market or grass fed bullock. Steers are HGP FREE. They handled well through the yards at assessment, with the odd one stirring up under pressure.
