Assessor Comments: Offering 72 Angus/Charolais/Charbray cross speyed heifers. All heifers were weighed after being on hay and water overnight, ranging from 402 to 556kg to Av. 458kg – FULL. They were mouthed to be 70% Milk teeth and 30% breaking or full two teeth. These heifers are speyed, MSA accredited, HGP-free, and display very good frame, bone, and shape, making them well suited to perform in the feedlot or on an oats crop. They are vendor bred out of medium to large framed Brahman, Charbray and Brangus cross cows, and sired by top quality bulls including Texas, Ardrossan, Murdeduke Angus, Palgrove Charolais and Jay Hall Charbray. A total of 77 heifers were assessed and photographed, with 72 offered for trucking. The five not included are of more Brahman type, although still flatbacks with only a slight hump, and their weights have been removed from the assessment – however the buyer can take these at the same rate if desired. 1 Heifer had her tail cut to short hence the blood.
