GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – FRIDAY 16TH OCTOBER 2026
Gracemere combined agents sold a reduced yarding of 1634 head, consisting of 679 steers, 629 heifers, 196 cows, 68 mickey bulls, 42 bulls and 47 cows & calves.
Today’s fat market strengthened across a lesser line of fats than previously seen in the last sale. Feeder steers and heifers strengthened significantly. Weaner steers saw the greatest gains, with euro cross types presenting to strong demand. Weaner heifers softened, mainly due to lack of numbers.
