WARWICK CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 11TH AUGUST 2026

Warwick agents penned 991 cattle down by 182 head. All the regular buyers attended and operated with cows and bulls to processors selling to firm prices. The better quality yearling steers to restockers sold to dearer rates of 13c to 21c/kg, however yearling heifers to background lost 21c to 50c with those to feed back by 14c to 18c/kg.

Yearling steers in the 200-280kg range to restockers sold from 374c to 530c/kg. Yearling steers over 280kg sold to 520c/kg. Yearling steers to feed for the domestic market sold from 410c to 510c/kg. Heavy yearling steers to the wholesale meat trade sold from 410c to 456c/kg. Yearling heifers in the 200-280kg range to restockers sold from 342c to 440c/kg. Yearling heifers over 280kg to background lost 21c and sold from 350c to 450c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed lost 14c and sold from 436c to 450/kg.

A small penning of grown steers to processors lost 18c and sold from 418c to 444c/kg. Grown heifers to process sold from 340c to 406c/kg. Light weight plain conditioned cows to processors gained 3c and sold from 280c to 364c with those to restockers at 256c to 368c/kg. Good heavy score 3 and 4 cows to processors remained firm and sold from 340c to 387c/kg. Light weight bulls to restockers sold from 358c to 404c/kg. Heavy bulls to processors sold from 388c to 464c/kg.
