The supply of stock lifted slightly with agents penning 926 lambs and 635 mutton. The usual processors and wholesalers attended and operated, with lambs suited to the trade market selling to dearer trends and all mutton selling to improved prices, along with store lambs selling to very spirited bidding from the restockers. Light weight young crossbred and dorper lambs to restockers sold from $71 to $104/head. Young lambs in the 16-18kg range to restockers sold from $90 to $125, with butchers paying from $111 to $130/head. Young lambs over 18kg to the butcher market sold from $132 to $169/head. Older lambs in the 18-20kg range to the wholesale meat trade sold from $140 to $170/head. Lambs in the 20-24kg range sold from $140 to $200/head. Trade weight lambs to processors sold from $199 to $210 with the best heavy lambs topping at $270/head. Hoggets to processors sold from $110 to $171/head. Light weight merino ewes to processors sold from $30 to $70, with the dorpers at $66 to $99/head. Heavy ewes to processors sold from $100 to $196/head. Wethers to processors sold from $106 to $180/head. Ram lambs to the butcher trade sold from $126 to $140, with rams to processors at $70 to $82/head.
