Agents at Warwick penned 1,361 head, down by 626 on last sale. The yarding included lines of plain conditioned cows which sold to cheaper trends, with the feeder yearling steers selling to dearer rates along with the grown heifers to processors. Light weight yearling steer and heifer restockers lines sold to reduced prices mainly due to the quality on offer.

Yearling steers in the 200-280kg range to background made 412c to average 372c/kg. Yearling steers in the 280-330kg range to feed sold to 420c and averaged 390c/kg. Yearling steers to feed for the domestic market made 428c to average 404c/kg. Heavy yearling steers to feed averaged 374c and sold to 386c with those to the wholesale meat trade at 410c to average 388c/kg. Yearling heifers in the 200-280kg range to restockers made 318c to average 298c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed made 330c to average 310c/kg. Heavy yearling heifers to feed made 348c to average 328c with those to the wholesale meat trade topping at 410c to average 358c/kg.

Grown steers to feed made 375c to average 358c/kg. Grown steers to processors sold from 332c to 338c and averaged from 326c to 329c/kg. Grown heifers to processors made 336c to average 319c/kg. Light weight plain conditioned cows to restockers sold to 240c with those to processors at 260c to average 224c/kg. Score 3 heavy cows to processors eased by 17c selling to 260c and averaging 251c/kg. The best heavy cows made 273c to average 266c/kg. Heavy bulls to processors made 310c to average 293c up by 12c/kg.
