Total Yarding: 2728 (+1720) | Sheep Yarding: 973 (+563) | Lamb Yarding: 1755 (+1157)

Numbers increased to 1,755 lambs and 973 mutton at Warwick. The overall yarding included excellent lines of well finished lambs and hoggets to suit the wholesaler and processor which resulted in all the major processors competing strongly to secure numbers with prices lifting up to $18/head. Store lambs in smaller numbers to restockers sold to similar rates of last week with the mutton to processors improving from $16 to $30/head.

Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers sold from $120 to $150/head. Young lambs in the 16-20kg range to restockers and to feed sold from $140 to $208/head. Young lambs to the butcher trade sold from $192 to $299/head. Older lambs in the 18-20kg range to butchers sold from $186 to $202/head. Lambs to suit the wholesale meat trade sold from $211 to $289/head. Lambs over 24kg to processors sold from $241 to $300 with the best heavy lambs topping at $376/head.

Hoggets to processors sold from $188 to $262/head. Ewes to processors sold from $162 to $257/head. A line of merino wethers with skin sold to restockers at $121/head. Heavy wethers to processors sold from $182 to $233/head. Ram lambs to the butcher trade sold from $148 to $232 with older rams at $192 to $232/head. Ewes and lambs sold to $300/unit.
