DALBY CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 5TH NOVEMBER 2025

Combined agents this week yarded 4,589 head for the weekly fat and store sale. This saw numbers increase by 1,064 head on last sale. Southern operators were in attendance, along with the normal buying panel.

Heavy prime cows sold to 420c/kg, to average 391c/kg. Light cows sold in a range from 240–370c/kg, averaging 346c/kg. Heavy bulls topped at 448c/kg to average 405c/kg. Light bulls sold to 448c/kg. Heavy heifers to feed gained on last sale, selling from 360 -468c/kg to average 451c/kg. Bullocks were firm on last sale, selling to 440c/kg, to average 430c/kg. Heavy feeder steers dropped on last week, selling from 420–486 c/kg to average 448c/kg. Trade weight feeder steers stayed firm, selling from 280-508c/kg, averaging 470c/kg. Trade weight feeder heifers gained on last week, selling from 372 -468c/kg to average 437c/kg. Weaner steers sold to 546c/kg, to average 494c/kg. Weaner heifers averaged 412c/kg.
