CHARTERS TOWERS STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – FRIDAY 7TH NOVEMBER 2025
Charters Towers Combined Agents yarded a total of 2,425 store cattle consisting of 1,016 steers, 36 mickeys, 1,355 heifers and 18 cows and calves.
Store cattle were mostly made up of younger types showing the signs of the season, with those better quality runs meeting with good competition. Heavier feeder types were few in supply and met with strong demand. The yarding was drawn from Burketown, Georgetown, Mt Suprise, Chillagoe and Prairie, as well as local and coastal areas.

- A pen of 17 steers, A/c D Porter, “Dingo Park”, Woodstock, made 498.2c/kg, weighing 264kg to return $1,313 per head.
- A good run of 118 heifers on A/c Rapisarda Enterprises, “Woodhouse Station”, Ayr, made 414c/kg, weighing an average of 300kg to return $1,243 per head.
- Cows and calves sold from $550 to $1,450 per head.
