BLACKALL CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – THURSDAY 13TH NOVEMBER 2025
Blackall combined agents yarded a total of 3,870 head of cattle for this week’s Prime and Store Sale. Cattle were drawn locally, and from as far as Winton, Hughenden, and Julia Creek. Overall quality was mixed, with fewer top-end prime cattle on offer, which contributed to a slight weakening in the cow market, further influenced by a reduced buying panel. In contrast, fat heifers and bullocks sold fully firm to 10c dearer, supported by consistent demand, while store cattle remained firm across most categories. Despite the variation in quality, the yarding was met with solid competition from processors, and restockers.
