CHARTERS TOWERS PRIME & STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 19TH NOVEMBER 2025
Charters Towers Combined Agents yarded a total of 2,775 cattle consisting of 1,637 Prime Cattle and 1,138 Store Cattle. The Prime cattle consisted of 644 Bullocks, 244 Heifers, 548 Cows and 201 Bulls. The Store Cattle consisted of 530 Steers, 604 Heifers & 4 Cows & Calves.
Cattle comprised of a large yarding of heavy well finished Bullocks, a sample of Prime Heifers and a reduced yarding of only 548 Cows. The yarding was drawn from Mount Isa, Richmond, Julia Creek, Georgetown, Mount Garnet and Ingham, as well as local and coastal areas.
Prime Quotes: Bullocks were quoted 15¢ dearer, Heifers were firm, Cows were firm, and Bulls were firm on last week’s rates.

• Bullocks topped at 458.2¢/kg for a pen of Heavy Bullocks sold on A/c Eden Cattle Co that weighed 642kg to return to $2,940 per head.
• Best priced Trade Heifers were presented on A/c Fry Bloodline Trust, “Forest Home”, Georgetown that sold for 412¢/kg and weighed 457kg return to $1,882 per head.
• The top pen of cows were sold by B & K Bartolini for 396.2¢/kg weighing 538kg to return $2,133 per head.
• Bulls sold on A/c FW & RA Blacklock topped at 382.2¢/kg and weighed 701kg to return $2,681 per head.

• A pen of 12 Steers on A/c Ryan Rankine, sold for 448¢/kg, to weigh 417kg and return $1,868 per head.
• A good pen of Heifers on A/c Samton Pastoral made 400¢/kg, to weigh 342kg and returned an average of $1,367 per head.
• Cows and Calves sold on A/c CC & T Archer, “Elston Hills”, Charters Towers returned $1,575 per unit.
