WARWICK SHEEP SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 3RD DECEMBER 2025

A large increase in supply to 1,731 lambs and 1,043 grown sheep at Warwick resulted in all major processors operating along with the regular wholesalers and a large panel of restockers. Prices for the young store lambs improved by $14/head with lambs to the wholesale meat trade firm and heavy lambs dearer. Mutton to processors sold to a firm market however ewes to restockers lifted from $14 to $23/head.

Young 12kg lambs to restockers sold from $91 to $124/head. Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers sold from $128 to $180/head. New season lambs to the butcher trade sold from $190 to $256/head. Older lambs in the 18-22kg to the wholesale meat trade sold from $169 to $270/head. Trade weight lambs to processors sold from $198 to $285 with the heavy lambs at $290 to $328/head.

Hoggets to processors sold from $160 to $248/head. Light weight ewes to processors sold from $130 to $140 with those to restockers at $130 to $220/head. Heavy ewes to processors sold from $142 to $235/head. Wethers to processors sold from $157 to $224/head. Ram lambs to the butcher trade sold from $152 to $219/head. Rams to processors sold from $140 to $170/head.
