Total Yarding: 2,990 (-95) | Sheep Yarding: 1,180 (-366) | Lamb Yarding: 1,810 (+271)

Warwick agents penned 1,810 lambs and 1,180 grown sheep. The yarding contained a good spread of light weight store lambs to suit the restocker which sold to dearer trends along with young sucker lambs to suit the butcher trade again selling to dearer trends. Light trade lambs sold to easier prices however the trade and heavy lambs lifted from $2 to $11/head. Hoggets and the mutton lines all sold to dearer trends. Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers sold from $98 to $156/head. Young 16-20kg lambs to the butcher trade sold from $150 to $210/head. Older 18kg lambs to the wholesale meat trade sold from $180 to $237/head. Lambs in the 20-24kg range to processors sold from $200 to $254 with the best heavy lambs topping at $310/head. Strong processor interest resulted in hoggets selling from $160 to $229/head. Light weight merino ewes to restockers sold from $80 to $120/head. Heavy ewes to processors sold from $130 to $245/head. Wethers to processors sold from $212 to $345/head. Ram lambs to the butcher trade sold from $179 to $204/head. Rams to processors sold from $120 to $168 with one ram finding a new home at $460/head.
