ROMA STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 24TH FEBRUARY 2026
A total of 7,634 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday.
Weaner steers under 200kg topped at 568c/kg and averaged 445c/kg, weaner steers in the 200-280kg range reached 602c/kg and averaged 518c/kg. Steers in the 280-330kg range reached 581c/kg and averaged 518c/kg, and steers in the 330-400kg range reached 556c/kg and averaged 498c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-500kg range topped at 512c/kg and averaged 467c/kg.
Heifers under 200kg topped at 426c/kg and averaged 372c/kg, while heifers in the 200-280kg range topped at 456c/kg and averaged 406c/kg. Heifers in the 280-330kg range topped at 460c/kg, averaging 415c/kg. Heifers in the 330-400kg range topped at 454c/kg, averaging 408c/kg. Heifers in the 400-500kg range topped at 454c/kg, averaging 403c/kg.
Cows in the 330-400kg range reached 368c/kg and averaged 261c/kg. Cows in the 400-500kg range topped at 380c/kg, averaging 350c/kg. Cows in the 500-600kg range topped at 392c/kg, averaging 373c/kg. Cows over 600kg topped at 395c/kg, averaging 382c/kg.
