ROMA STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 3RD MARCH 2026
A total of 7,259 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday.
Weaner steers under 200kg topped at 608c/kg and averaged 525c/kg, weaner steers in the 200-280kg range reached 580c/kg and averaged 524c/kg. Steers in the 280-330kg range reached 578c/kg and averaged 527c/kg, and steers in the 330-400kg range reached 578c/kg and averaged 501c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-500kg range topped at 513c/kg and averaged 490c/kg.
Heifers under 200kg topped at 420c/kg and averaged 383c/kg, while heifers in the 200-280kg range topped at 454c/kg and averaged 417c/kg. Heifers in the 280-330kg range topped at 464c/kg, averaging 408c/kg. Heifers in the 330-400kg range topped at 450c/kg, averaging 415c/kg. Heifers in the 400-500kg range topped at 450c/kg, averaging 418c/kg.
Cows in the 330-400kg range reached 360c/kg and averaged 306c/kg. Cows in the 400-500kg range topped at 392c/kg, averaging 349c/kg. Cows in the 500-600kg range topped at 392c/kg, averaging 374c/kg. Cows over 600kg topped at 395c/kg, averaging 384c/kg.
