WARWICK SHEEP SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 18TH MARCH 2026
Total Yarding: 2,825 (+160) | Sheep Yarding: 980 (-646) | Lamb Yarding: 1,845 (+806)
Warwick agents penned 1,845 lambs and 980 grown sheep. The regular store and feeder buyers attended however, one of the processors was absent from the buyer panel which resulted in the plainer conditioned lambs and mutton selling to easier trends, along with the lambs returning to the paddock.
Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers sold from $60 to 128/head. Young lambs over 16kg to restockers sold from $86 to $142, with those to the butcher trade at $159/head. Older lambs in the 18-22kg range to the butcher trade sold from $160 to $243/head. Trade weight lambs to processors sold from $170 to $275, with the heavy lambs at $251 to $340/head.
Dorper and crossbred hoggets to processors sold from $140 to $220/head. Crossbred and dorper ewes to processors sold from $130 to $210/head. Merino wethers to processors sold from $150 to $176, with the crossbreds at $180 to $220/head. Ram lambs to the butcher trade made $180/head. Meat rams sold from $138 to $151/head.
