WARWICK CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 24TH MARCH 2026

Numbers reduced to 2,034 head at Warwick. The yarding was dominated by cows and yearling feeder and restocker lines. With the absence of a southern processor all export lines sold to cheaper trends, with cows the most affected selling from 8c to 21c/kg less.

Yearling steers in the 200-280kg range to restockers sold from 400c to 538c/kg. Yearling steers over 280kg to feed and to background sold to 480c/kg. Yearling steers to feed for the domestic market sold from 406c to 490c/kg. Heavy yearling steers to feed sold from 450c to 484c/kg. Yearling heifers in the 200-280kg range to restockers sold from 280c to 410c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed sold from 374c to 422c/kg. Heavy yearling heifers to feed sold from 380c to 458c/kg.

Bullocks to processors sold from 420c to 445c/kg. Grown heifers to processors sold from 353c to 420c/kg. Light weight plain conditioned cows to restockers sold from 150c to 337c/kg, with those to processors at 250c to 341c/kg. Heavy score 2 cows to processors sold from 270c to 335c/kg. Good heavy score 3 and 4 cows sold from 339c to 370c/kg. Light weight bulls to restockers sold from 356c to 376c/kg. Heavy bulls to processors sold from 320c to 404c/kg.
