ROMA STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 24TH MARCH 2026
A total of 7,521 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday.
Weaner steers under 200kg topped at 532c/kg and averaged 462c/kg, weaner steers in the 200-280kg range reached 576c/kg and averaged 497c/kg. Steers in the 280-330kg range reached 570c/kg and averaged 512c/kg, and steers in the 330-400kg range reached 548c/kg and averaged 502c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-500kg range topped at 510c/kg and averaged 468c/kg.
Heifers under 200kg topped at 390c/kg and averaged 309c/kg, while heifers in the 200-280kg range topped at 444c/kg and averaged 394c/kg. Heifers in the 280-330kg range topped at 444c/kg, averaging 406c/kg. Heifers in the 330-400kg range topped at 444c/kg, averaging 384c/kg. Heifers in the 400-500kg range topped at 425c/kg, averaging 375c/kg.
Cows in the 330-400kg range reached 312c/kg and averaged 258c/kg. Cows in the 400-500kg range topped at 400c/kg, averaging 325c/kg. Cows in the 500-600kg range topped at 377c/kg, averaging 355c/kg. Cows over 600kg topped at 382c/kg, averaging 364c/kg.
