The dry season continues to force producers to reduce numbers with Warwick agents penning 812 lambs and 1,274 grown sheep, all the regular buyers attended and operated. The smaller penning of trade lambs resulted in prices lifting from $12 to $31/head. Young lambs to restockers gained $10 to $20/head, with hoggets easier, however mutton ewes sold to dearer trends.

Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers sold from $86 to $110/head. Young lambs in the 16-18kg range to restockers sold from $100 to $176/head. Young lambs over 18kg to the butchers trade sold from $148 to $210/head. Older lambs in the 18-20kg range to the wholesale meat trade sold from $181 to $220/head. Trade weight lambs to processors sold from $221 to $260 with the heavy lambs at $251 to $336/head.

Hoggets to processors sold from $174 to $236/head. Dorper ewes to processors sold from $146 to $278/head. Merino wethers to processors sold from $97 to $163, with heavy crossbred wethers at $240/head. Ram lambs to the butcher trade sold from $190 to $225/head. Meat rams sold from $140 to $176/head.
