ROMA STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 19TH MAY 2026
A total of 6,576 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday.
Weaner steers under 200kg topped at 540c/kg and averaged 498c/kg, weaner steers in the 200-280kg range reached 540c/kg and averaged 496c/kg. Steers in the 280-330kg range reached 539c/kg and averaged 498c/kg, and steers in the 330-400kg range reached 528c/kg and averaged 485c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-500kg range topped at 511c/kg and averaged 485c/kg.
Heifers under 200kg topped at 428c/kg and averaged 388c/kg, while heifers in the 200-280kg range topped at 452c/kg and averaged 407c/kg. Heifers in the 280-330kg range topped at 446c/kg, averaging 402c/kg. Heifers in the 330-400kg range topped at 456c/kg, averaging 400c/kg. Heifers in the 400-500kg range topped at 486c/kg, averaging 439c/kg.
Cows in the 330-400kg range reached 330c/kg and averaged 262c/kg. Cows in the 400-500kg range topped at 353c/kg, averaging 318c/kg. Cows in the 500-600kg range topped at 380c/kg, averaging 347c/kg. Cows over 600kg topped at 388c/kg, averaging 363c/kg.
