Warwick agents penned 1,333 mixed quality and conditioned cattle. All the regular buyers attended and operated with bulls, cows and bullocks selling to dearer trends. Feeder lines also sold to improved prices with the restocker yearlings firm on recent sales.
Yearling steers in the 200-280kg range to restockers sold from 400c to 526c/kg. Yearling steers over 280kg to background sold from 426c to 470c/kg. Yearling steers to feed for the domestic market sold from 400c to 480c/kg. Heavy yearling steers to feed sold from 420c to 490c/kg. Yearling heifers in the 200-280kg range to restockers sold from 278c to 418c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed sold from 340c to 470c/kg. Heavy yearling heifers to processors sold from 421c to 445c/kg.
Bullocks to processors sold from 413c to 481c/kg. Light conditioned grown heifers to restockers sold from 216c to 364c/kg. Heavy grown heifers to processors sold from 349c to 438c/kg. Light weight plain conditioned cows to restockers sold from 200c to 290c, with those to processors at 240c to 341c/kg. Heavy score 2 cows to processors sold from 280c to 350c/kg. Good heavy cows sold from 330c to 380c/kg. Heavy bulls to processors sold from 402c to 421c/kg.
