Useful falls of rain across the supply area reduced the supply of stock at Warwick to 972 head. The regular buyers attended and operated in a market that sold to dearer trends across all lines offered.

Yearling steers in the 200-280kg range to restockers gained 33c and sold from 400c to 584c/kg. Yearling steers over 280kg to restock and feed sold from 422c to 528c/kg. Yearling steers to feed for the domestic market sold from 408c to 522c/kg up by 25c. Heavy yearling steers to feed sold from 475c to 486c with those to processors at 473c/kg. Yearling heifers in the 200-280kg range to background gained 35c and sold from 325c to 460c/kg. Yearling heifers over 280kg sold from 368c to 454c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed gained 19c and sold from 354c to 454c/kg.

Grown steers to processors sold from 464c to 481c/kg. Grown heifers to processors sold from 430c to 454c/kg. Light weight plain conditioned cows to restockers sold from 216c to 362c, with those to processors at 270c to 366c/kg up by 48c/kg. Heavy score 2 cows to processors gained 19c and sold from 327c to 354c/kg. Good heavy cows to processors sold from 360c to 435c/kg. Heavy bulls to processors sold from 390c to 414c/kg.
