A smaller yarding of 694 lambs and 324 grown sheep resulted in dearer trends across the trade weight lambs and the store lambs back to the paddock with the heavier lambs to the processor similar to last sale.
Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers sold from $100 to $171/head. Young lambs over 16kg to restockers sold from $171 to $206 with those to butchers topping at $225/head. Older lambs in the 18-20kg range to the butcher trade sold from $255 to $272/head to average 1314c/kg cwt. Lambs in the 20-22kg range to butchers sold from $232 to $268/head. Lambs to processors sold from $270 to $320/head to average 1182c/kg cwt.
Hoggets to processors sold from $170 to $268/head. Merino ewes to restockers sold from $102 to $160/head. Heavy crossbred and merino ewes to processors sold from $172 to $232/head. Ram lambs to the wholesale meat trade sold from $150 to $196 with two finding new homes at $257/head. Meat rams sold from $158 to $194/head. Ewes and lambs sold to $265/unit.
