In a rain reduced yarding, Blackall combined agents yarded 950 head at their weekly Cattle sale. Cattle were drawn from Aramac, Muttaburra, Longreach, Winton, Jericho, Cloncurry, Julia Creek, Tambo, Boulia, and Blackall.

Export Cattle eased by 10 to 20c, not a lot of feeder cattle to quote, store steers cheaper but very mixed quality. Weaner Heifers cheaper but same story mixed quality and not a big number.

Bambling  Family “Glenavon” Aramac sold a very good single bullock 426c/kg weighing 660kg to return $2,812, they also sold Brahman cows to 365c/kg weighing 593lg to return $2,167/hd.

CJ & MJ Arnold “Gelebele” sold Charolais cross steers to 470c/kg weighing 515kg to return $2,420/hd.

D & A Humphrey “Merida” Jericho sold Simmental cross heifers 410c/kg weighing 512kg to return $2,102/hd while the Simmental cross cows sold to 382c/kg weighing 643kg to return $2,460/hd.

Lisa Stout Winton sold Santa Gertrudis steers to468c/kg weighing 389kg to return $1,823/hd.

Williams Grazing Company Longreach sold Angus steers to 458c/kg weighing 476kg to return $2,184/hd while their Angus cross heifers sold to 428c/kg weighing 329kg to return $1,409/hd.
