Total Yarding: 1199 (+461)
Warwick agents penned 1,199 cattle up by 461 head. The mixed yarding contained several pens of quality yearling steers and heifers which sold to strong competition along with the better finished bullocks and cows. All the regular buyers attended and operated.
Yearling steers in the 200-280kg range to restockers sold from 420c to 610c/kg. Yearling steers over 280kg to background sold from 500c to 596c/kg. Medium weight yearling steers to restockers sold from 464c to 584c/kg. Heavy yearling steers to feed sold from 404c to 520c/kg. Yearling heifers in the 200-280kg range to background sold from 384c to 532c/kg. Yearling heifers over 280kg to restockers sold from 406c to 518c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed sold from 370c to 468c/kg. Heavy yearling heifers to the wholesale meat trade sold from 414c to 450c/kg.
Bullocks to processors sold from 440c to 458c/kg. Grown heifers to processors sold from 393c to 436c/kg. Light weight plain conditioned cows to processors sold from 270c to 344c/kg. Plain conditioned heavy cows to restockers sold from 280c to 396c/kg. Good heavy cows to processors sold from 340c to 395c/kg. Heavy bulls to processors sold from 440c to 478c/kg.
