GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER 2026
Gracemere combined agents sold a reduced yarding of 2,251 head, consisting of 727 steers, 900 heifers, 446 cows, 114 mickey bulls, 28 bulls and 34 cows & calves.
This weeks Gracemere market saw a general strengthening across the entire sale. Prime cattle strengthened, with increased competition across heavy lines of cattle. Feeder cattle strengthened, with heifers solidifying with strong competition. Weaner steers firmed, with lightweight steers seeing the greatest lift in pricing. Weaner heifers strengthened significantly, with low content heifers being highly sought after for southern markets.
