GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER 2026
Gracemere combined agents sold a reduced yarding of 3,427 head, consisting of 1,418 steers, 1,327 heifers, 521 cows, 123 mickey bulls, 28 bulls and 10 cows & calves.
This weeks Gracemere market saw another general lift across the board. The prime market saw heavy cows and heifers lift significantly, with second rate cows seeing increased competition. Feeder cattle saw a large lift, with feeder heifers seeing the greatest improvements. Weaner steers saw a large jump with Euro cross calves receiving a large premium. Weaner heifers remained firm, again with Euro influence being preferred.
