Agents at Warwick penned 1,323 lambs and 482 grown sheep down by 155 head on the previous sale. All the usual buyers attended with one processor still absent from the buying panel. Young lambs to restockers and the butcher trade sold to dearer trends. Lambs to the feeder buyers improved by $61 however lambs to suit the local trade market sold to easier trends of $11 to $22/head. Heavy lambs to processors improved from $6 to $10/head. Hoggets and ewe mutton also sold to dearer prices.

Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers sold from $98 to $160/head and to the butcher trade at $135 to $172/head. Older lambs in the 18-22kg range to feed sold from $150 to $210/head. Trade weight lambs sold from $189 to $271/head. Heavy lambs to processors sold from $230 to $310 with the best lambs topping at $324/head.

Hoggets to processors sold from $192 to $250/head. Merino ewes to restockers sold from $52 to $122/head. Heavy dorper ewes to processors sold from $150 to $248/head. Merino wethers to processors sold from $168 to $200/head. Ram lambs to processors sold from $198 to $210/head. Meat rams sold from $180 to $200/head.
