BLACKALL CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – THURSDAY 14TH AUGUST 2025
Blackall combined agents yarded 2,800 head at the weekly Prime and Store sale. The yarding of prime cattle was of mixed quality, which does explain some of the average reductions. Bullocks were in good supply, with demand strong and the market strengthening. Cows and heavy heifers were of mixed quality. The feeder and store cattle yarded attracted strong competition from the buyer panel. Cattle were drawn from the Cloncurry, Julia Creek, Kynuna, Winton, Longreach, Barcaldine and Blackall districts.
