BLACKALL CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – THURSDAY 23RD OCTOBER 2025
A total of 2,339 head of cattle were yarded at this week’s Blackall sale. Consignments came from Alice Springs, Winton, Longreach, Tambo, Blackall, Barcaldine, and surrounding districts. The fat cattle market remained firm, with the best cows reaching 378.2c/kg. The store market was well supplied with quality lines, resulting in weaner steers selling to 505.2c/kg and feeder steers up to 462.2c/kg. The heifer market was also strong, supported by the good quality yarding presented throughout the sale.
