BLACKALL CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – THURSDAY 27TH NOVEMBER 2025
A total of 5,168 head of cattle were yarded at this week’s Blackall weaner and feeder sale. Stock were sourced from Winton, Longreach, Tambo, Blackall, Barcaldine and surrounding districts. The market was exceptionally strong, with all categories recording solid gains. Quality was impressive across the board, with several outstanding lines of cattle presented. Feeder steers sold to a top of 528.2 c/kg, while weaner steers reached an impressive 606.2 c/kg. There were also very good runs of feeder heifers, many making over 440.2 c/kg, with the best pens topping at 466.2 c/kg.
