BLACKALL CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – THURSDAY 4TH DECEMBER 2025
A total of 3,282 head were yarded in Blackall for the final sale of the year. The market slipped compared with last week’s sale. Heavy cows remained very strong, topping at 410.0c/kg. However, secondary and store cows recorded a of around 20c. In the bullock run, younger, well-covered bullocks eased by 10c, while older types fell by around 20c.The weaner and store market performed well for the better-quality lines yarded, which sold to strong competition. In contrast, second-rate cattle were harder to place, losing up to 30c on last week’s rates.
