DALBY CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 19TH NOVEMBER 2025

Dalby Agents yarded 7,278 head, including 1,030 from far Western Queensland, 199 from NSW and 224 from SA. All the regular buyers were in attendance and active. An exceptional line-up of cattle was presented from far Western Queensland and the local district, along with strong consignments from NSW and SA. The market was very solid to dearer across all categories. Yearling steers under 200kg topped at 508c/kg, while steers 200 to 280kg sold to 580c to average 530c/kg to restockers. Steers 280 to 330kg made from 302c to 580c/kg, and those 330 to 400kg sold from 380c to 568c/kg to restockers. Steers 400 to 480kg sold to 527c to restockers and 520c/kg to lot feeders, while steers over 480kg made to 478c to processors and 532c/kg to lot feeders. Yearling heifers under 200kg sold to 468c/kg, with heifers 200 to 280kg making from 280c to 478c/kg to restockers. Heifers 280 to 330kg reached 482c/kg, and heifers 330 to 400kg sold from 300c to 492c/kg to restockers. Heifers 400 to 480kg topped at 480c/kg to processors, while those over 480kg sold to 472c/kg to lot feeders. Grown steers 500 to 600kg made from 370c to 494c/kg to processors, with bullocks over 600kg reaching 494c/kg. Grown heifers over 540kg sold to 462c to average 433c/kg to processors. A very good run of prime-conditioned cows came forward from Western Queensland and the near local district, with prime 3 score cows over 520kg selling to 420c/kg to processors. The 2 score cows 400 to 520kg made from 201c to 375c/kg. Bulls 450 to 600kg sold to 434c/kg, while those over 600kg made to 440c/kg.
