GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 15TH APRIL 2026
Gracemere combined agents yarded a total of 2,353 head, consisting of 1,080 steers, 811 heifers, 301 cows, 91 mickey bulls, 51 bulls and 19 cows and calves. The fat market realised a moderate positive trend with the feeder portion attracting strong competition from Southern support to lift the market. Feeder heifers were of minimal numbers and quality to quote accurately with the secondary types softening significantly. Restocker steers met outstanding competition to achieve an increasing average for the quality of calves presented. Weaner heifers were solid on last week’s prices and achieved stronger demand for the correct articles.
