GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 15TH JANUARY 2025
For the first sale of the year Gracemere Combined Agents saw a total yarding of 2654 head comprising of 1172 Steers, 1165 Heifers, 139 Cows, 81 Cows & Calves, 26 Bulls & 71 Mickey Bulls. There were a number of high-quality lines of cattle on offer today selling to strong competition. Cattle were sourced from Jericho, Capella, Springsure, Bauhinia, Baralaba, Sarina as well as a number of local cattle. Overall, the market was considerably stronger than the final sale of 2024 on the back of improved seasonal conditions, with the restocker market being a highlight.
