GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 1ST APRIL 2026
Gracemere combined agents saw a decrease in numbers this week of 2,870 head, consisting of 1,401 steers, 979 heifers, 309 cows, 107 mickey bulls, 34 bulls and 40 cows & calves. This weeks fat market saw another expected softening. Feeder steers softened, with quality steers still selling consistently. Feeder heifers softened, with breed content being a key factor in strength. Weaner steers remained firm, again with competition from re-stockers keeping up buoyancy. Weaner heifers softened, with breed content and weight being key factors.
